 "The knight in Rusty Armor"

Book review:

"The knight in rusty armor" is an American novel and it was written by Robert Fisher. He started writing at age of nineteen to important comedians, having a big success. This book is considered a best seller and it had a wonderful success, having a big impact on children and old people. It was translated in many languages, such as Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese and Portuguese. This novel reflects a man change, who did not express his feelings.

The protagonist in an egocentric knight, who could not appreciate what he had. He neglected his things and people around him. In this way, he was gradually enclosed within his armor and when he wanted to take it off he realized that he could not do it. He was prisioner of himself so, he decided to look for help, and somebody recommended him to look for Merlin  magician. He would help him but the knight had to face different situations, some of them absolutely unreal as figment of his imagination.

What I like most about this book is when Sam appears, he is the interior person within the knight. He is who advices to the knight while he is in the way to take off the armor and to find himself and, of course, the happiness. But especially, in the way of appreciate the love from his wife and son.

I am not going to tell you the ending of this, it is a wonderful book and I am sure that you are going to enjoy reading this. Even though it was published in 1989, nowadays it is still read successfully. An important point about it is that, within this, a part of humour is included that makes it more interesting and funny. If you like medieval stories about castles and knights, you are going to love this book, and the same time it is going to make you think about your life and what makes you happy.
